The location was great. Very close to the centre and river. We also liked the atmosphere in the apartment.

Kitchen is a little old

Pretty, well maintained apartment. Great location yet quiet. Comfy beds and spacious.

5 floor walk-up! Kitchen could use cooking oil, spatela, and new skillet. Check-in wasn't until after 4pm.

Fantastic location, clean and comfortable.

It was on the 5th floor so not easy access. We also asked for toilet paper as there was hardly any in the apartment but none was delivered.

Its a gem Appartment right in the middle of Porto old Town. Nearest Station is Sao Bento, Parking- there are two near the Palace and near Sao Bento. Walking distance to Porto Ribeira. 👍👍👍 You have a lot of choices where to eat. Cons: NO ELEVATOR. Needs a strong Legs for the Stairs. Our Appartment is on the 5th Floor.

It was clean, big, all the appliances I needed was there, good Wifi, great location near everything.

They had coffee and tea and sugar which was great. I only think having salt as well would not hurt, but it was not a big deal.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, and Cristina was very flexible and accommodating about allowing us to pick up the keys and drop off our luggage earlier than the normal check-in time. I can't think of a more perfect location: it is right in the historic city center, has easy access to city bus lines and to the metro, and is a walk of only a few minutes from the lively riverside area. There is a spotless and well-functioning bidet in the bathroom, which I recognize is not going to be important to most people, but I have bidets in both of my bathrooms at home, and was happy to have that amenity available to me as I traveled. There are good restaurants very close to the flat, and as I said, access to public transportation is easy if you want to broaden your range of choices. Good light, and the place is reasonably quiet, for being in a neighborhood with a lot of tourist pressure.

We were there during a cold, rainy three-day weekend, and keeping the place comfortable without wasting too much electricity meant that we made some compromises: we came back to a cold flat, turned on electric heaters in the spaces we were going to use, and waited ten or 15 minutes before the spaces were comfortable. Please be careful about the hot water temperature: the water is hot enough to scald you, so make sure that you've adjusted the water to the required temperature before you get into the shower, for instance. You should also know that the flat is four flights up, and the ceilings are about 12 feet, so those are long flights, each divided into two parts almost as long as a standard flight. If you have old knees, as I do, you'll be taking the stairs slowly, and planning your day to minimize the number of times you will have to climb them. Also, this may not be the best choice for you if you're traveling with a lot of luggage; that's a lot of stairs to climb with heavy bags. My friend and I were only traveling with small back-packs, and were glad that we didn't have to carry more. None of these is meant to be a criticism of the flat, by the way; we had a great time staying there, and enthusiastically recommend it. I'm just trying to help other people decide if it's the right choice for them.
