This apartment is a great location, so close to all of the action. It is roomy inside with lots of space to spread out. The space heaters worked well to heat the place during a chilly December stay. All the appliances were there and worked. The showers worked very well. The lighting was good in all of the rooms.

As noted, it is up four flights of stairs to the third floor. It can also be very loud at night as people get out of the bars. Beware, there is no way to bring a car in even to drop your luggage off.

L’emplacement dans le Bairro Alto est bien pratique: transports publics ainsi que des petits cafés et supérettes à proximité.

La rua do Norte est très bruyante la nuit et il est difficile de dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte ! Il y a bien des ventilateurs dans les chambres, mais peu silencieux. On imagine bien que pour des jeunes ce n’est pas un problème, mais pour des personnes plus âgées, c’est clairement contraignant. Odeur très forte des canalisations dans la 1e salle-de-bains.

Al principio nos costó llegar en auto pues las calles son cerradas al tráfico. Pero después de reconocer la ubicación ya no hubo problemas. 4 pisos sin ascensor, con las maletas se nos complicó un poco

The property was extremely spacious and had a good layout. Access to the property was frictionless. The area was perfect, right in the middle of Chiado and close to multiple modes of transport as well as shopping streets and multiple restaurants and bars. It was a little loud at night but this was to be expected given it’s location.

The bathroom. They have a lot of potential but they definitely need work. The doors on the shower feel very fragile and you would be worried about closing the doors too fast in case they broke. I experienced similar to what other people have and found there were 2 cockroaches in the bathroom.
