Schlüsselübergabe über Box mit 4-stelligen Code. Es war sehr umständlich den Code zu bekommen! Vermieter ist nur über über die Booking-Seite zu erreichen. Vermieter ist nicht über die angegebene Telefonnummer zu erreichen! Das Bad ist sehr sehr klein. Sehr viele unnötige Nachrichten um die Unterkunft die keiner braucht.

O apartamento fica no coração de Alfama, lugar privilegiado para se conhecer as casas de fado a pé. A varanda é excepcional e o bonde passa na rua do apartamento, o que é um charme. Comporta bem quarto pessoas, tem máquina de café e outras comodidades.

Para entrar é preciso fazer auto check in e, no meu caso, foi difícil pegar as chaves. Tinha acabado de chegar, com malas, e tive de ir buscá-las em um outro hotel, distante da hospedagem, de táxi. Não tem ar condicionado e os ventiladores são fracos, passa-se bastante calor. Caso você tenha alguma dificuldade de locomoção, essa não é uma boa opção para você pois há bastantes escadas e o próprio bairro de Alfama tem ruas bastante irregulares.

There was only one mug for tea in a 4 sleeper apartment. The patio was lovely but the plants really needed water.

It was easy to collect the key and found the door. Beds were comfortable. Enough space and a super terrace. The toilet was too small, but we managed.

The location and the terrace are terriffic. Also the small apartment has its own charm.

For us everything was fine, but for some people the toilet will be impossible and too small. There’s no aircon, so that will be a problem for some people too.

A quirky, quaint 2 bed apartment with good facilities in the heart of Alfama. We felt safe. Some decent eateries closeby and 2 mini markets for essentials are within 5 minute walk. Main supermarket around 20 min walk away.

The online check in wanted me to provide bank details to pay the city tax. I was not comfortable doing this as there was no amount quoted (and I didn't want to run the risk of having the entire cost of the accommodation withdrawn in error). Instead I paid the city tax in person, in cash, at the Hostel's desk by the train station, which is a 30 min walk from the apartment. Friday and Saturday nights were noisy, with people in the street shouting and singing well into the night, with no consideration for the neighbours trying to sleep.
