Alfama Patio Apartments

Location was great, close to many things. Tram 28 outside the door was very convenient. Comfortable beds, clean. Well equipped with basic utensils, dishes, linen etc. Patio was beautiful! Great communication with host!

A little dated, bathroom is very small. Sink in bathroom not very functional since water will easily flow onto the floor if the tap isn't positionned right. Water is not suitable for drinking and sign says water bottles are provided but none were provided. We hired a driver from the airport via booking.com and the apartment adresse was provided directly, not sure if adresse on the apartment site is incorrect but we were dropped off at the wrong location and had to walk from the bottom of the hill.

Fantastic location ... Pátio dos Quintalinhos ! It's a historical landmark ! , fantastic deck and views. Small but generous and well-equipped kitchen, leftover spices, oil, etc. Complimentary coffee and tea bags. Tiny bathroom,but soft toilet paper, hot water, and fluffy towels are what really matters, and that's what they gave us ... Along with complimentary soap and shampoo. Cozy living rooms, more great room views, and easy check-in. Fast management communication response too

All of the neighbors were kind.. remember it's where folks are living. But one guy in his 20's or 30's with a dog , living in the corner on the top floor is ( far from our apartment ) is not cool. His nice dog ran up to us and the guy gave me a big attitude for just looking at his dog, yelling at me about how he is a true native of Lisbon blah blah blah. Other neighbors heard his shouts and poking their heads out the window, told us to ignore him.

a lovely traditional apartment perfectly placed in Alfama. the iconic trams rumbling past made it a memorable stay. good facilities with a great balcony and sea view. would happily stay again

Communication with host was terrible. Phone not answered. Got the code for keys 1,5h after check in time. Apartment was not cleaned. Linens from previous guests on floor. Horrible smell in apartment. Still waiting my refund of cleaning fee

The location is very good, walking distance to quite a few sights. The atmosphere of the Lisbon old twown is nice and memorable.

The cleaness is questionable...The coffee machine does not work. There appeared a electricity power down, contaced with the landlord to solve, but the communication was difficult. The shortage lasted from 6am to 8pm. The landlord only came to the apartment checking and repairing around 7.30pm after my strong request and before this they said it was a building shortage issue (actually was only the aprtment, I keep all the WhatsApp msg records), and finally they promised a refund of 50% one-night accomodation fee for the inconvenience. However, I found my credit card was double charged while paying the city tax on the night before the check-out day, contacted with the property for check, but their response is super slow and have not solved until now (3 days after checking out). I also tried to contact with the Booking official customer service to help contact and check with the property. Hope my extra charge could be returned as soon as possible.

Clean, spatial place, with great terrace, sea view. Everything great except comunication.

Very small bathroom. Wrong info about check in, problem with check in. In instructions during online payment it was said that the city tax will be charged on site. We came on site in the evening, still not having information about code for key safe box. Sent mail 3 times, before departure, on arrival to the airport, from site, NO RESPONCE. Called by the prone and only then got information we have to pay citytax online to get the code. Very unpleasent situation in the dark court in front of the building. They should have charged it during the payment before departure, or answer e mails.

Very central location, access by Lisboa public transport (which is very important on Lisboa hilly terrains when you are tired), A lot of room inside the property, terrace and other features which we didn't expected and became a pleasant surprise.
