Historical Center Apartments

Everything was just great! Nice, clean, cozy appartmens in the center - just few steps from Portas da Cidade and the ocean. Apartmens were fully equiped: coffee mashine, toster, oven, coffee, tea, washing mashine, dryer and etc. You just feel like at home🙂

Wonderful place to stay. Located close to everything (Cafés, restaurants, bars, Portas da Cidade, shops, groceries stores). Everything at walking distance. Very clean and well maintained. It met all our expectations. Would definitely go back! Our host Natércia was wonderful and very helpful. What a pleasant person. She did everything to make us feel at home.

The following are merely suggestions, not criticism. I have to say that the shower is very small. It's about the size of a cruise ship shower. Although the front door is opened through a door code and that the door of the room is a solid door locked with a key, I would recommend that a safe be added in the apartment. When you travel with your passports and lots of cash, a safe is a must to me. One night we came back and the front door was wide opened. One of the other 2 tenants did not close it well (the door doesn't close by itself) so anyone passing by could have come in. I would recommend to adjust the door so that it closes by itself after being opened or at least put a sign indicating to make sure to close the door. The TV is very small (like a PC screen), but you're not there to watch TV anyway. If you have a car, the street is narrow so parking can be difficult if you're not used to that kind of narrowness (it's like that on most of the streets). We parked our car on the main avenue. It's a paying parking but very cheap and it's free from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m. There's a few places around to park for free but involves a bit more walking and we did not use them. Nothing bad to say about this place.

The apartment is located in the old town of Ponta Delgada, with lots of nice restaurants around and the harbor three min walk distance, where you can go for a morning run or a swim (there’s a swimming area in the harbor). The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and super clean. Highly recommend!

Excellent location! Staff are very accommodating with arrival time. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfy beds, including washer and dryer.

Nothing, but be aware there is no lift, and there are the usual apartment noises from other guests moving around in the flat above.
