City Center With Charm

The location is very good with two nearby supermarkets and the metro. The size of the apartment is good and the converted balcony is a lovely place to work from.

The company managing this property is not serious about the business and clients. The property is getting badly worn and suffers from neglect. I had issues with a fridge that did not work properly (causing me to lose a week of food), a broken toaster, a broken dishwasher, and more. They sent a working, old and broken toaster to replace the non-working old and broken toaster. They replaced the fridge with another used, but functioning fridge and never replaced/repaired the dishwasher. I was told several times that the owner was out shopping for the dishwasher and when I asked when this would be sorted, the person managing the property would stop answering my messages. I stayed in there for a month and despite chasing the property manager, several times, all I got were deliberate delays followed by radio silence. The issues with the property include: - The interphone does not work and hangs off the wall (if someone buzzes, you have to go downstairs to open the door) - The door knob is broken (the only way to open the door is from inside and with a key, real issue when two people share the key) - The shower cubical leaks water all over the floor - The bathroom sink leaks and instead of fixing it, they put a bowl that the guest has to keep emptying. - The electricity is weak, if you turn on the kettle plus a cooking hob, or even two cooking hobs at the same time, the electricity collapses (this made cooking that much harder and longer) - There is only one small, old, portable radiator and it does not produce much heat, making the apartment cold in the winter. - There is no aircon and the afternoon sun shines directly onto the windows. We had a few days of blue sky and temperatures around 18C, it was impossible to stay inside the apartment. I cannot imagine what summer must be like inside there.

It was roomy.

There wasn’t a constant working light in the hallway or front door so it was very dark all the time.
