Sintra Design Apartment

Fantastic location. Can't recommend the place more. It's right in the heart of what is cool to see for an amazing price and contactless check in. We will stay here again next time in Arcos.

It was basically a hotel room with no kitchen. Not suitable for a longer stay where you need a kitchen.

The stay was amazing. The apartment is really clean and comfortable. The location is really good, because it's easy to reach almost every tourist attraction in the Sintra.

There is no dedicated car park.

Mention the length the stairs in the advertisement… If I had known about the stairs, I would not have booked the apartment as I am awaiting a hip replacement and going up and down the stairs caused great pain. Since you advertise the apartment as a three bedroom, please stock the kitchen with amenities for that number of people. In trying to make meals, we were experiencing shortages in utensils, necessities for meal making.

The location of this accommodation in Sintra is very central, and the space is large, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. However, the state of the property is deplorable and far below acceptable standards.

The towels provided were torn and stained, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the bathrooms. Mold was clearly visible on the ceiling. One of the bathroom sinks was clogged and filled with grease, making it unusable. The furniture is worn out, the blinds do not work, and if you open the windows, you may struggle to close them again. The kitchen was particularly disappointing. The kitchenware was dirty, and the hosts left extremely worn-out sponges for guests to use, which is unacceptable. Additionally, there were no coffee capsules provided for the coffee machine, and to make matters worse, the oven contained a pan filled with rancid oil. Cleanliness in general was poor—the floors seemed like they hadn’t been washed in a long time. This place has potential due to its size and location, but its current condition is far from satisfactory. I would rate it a maximum 6 out of 10.

Wonderful location in the historic centre of Sintra. Excellent facilities. As with elsewhere a narrow staircase entrance, a minor concern.

The location was just amazing. Close to everything and all the places. The house was huge, beds were comfortable and the house overall was clean.

The bathrooms did not have a vent, and smelled bad. It fogged up considerably if anyone took a shower.
