Bairrus Lisbon Apartments - Rossio

The room was quite big, kitchen well equipped. Location is central (although requires some climbing from Rosio)

The room was a bit dated, there was some mold in the bathroom etc.

Juan, the property manager, met us a couple of blocks from the property and walked us to the apartment. He's a really good guy. He met us with a box of Pastel de Nata as a gift which was very nice. The apartment was clean and included everything we needed. The location was just a couple of blocks from some of our favorite parts of the city.

The street where the apartment is located was dirty and smelly with trash everywhere. That's no fault of Juan but it is the case. The apartment building was at the end of a dark and narrow dead-end street so especially at night, it felt a little unsafe to us. The stairs to the unit were narrow and steep with a very low ceiling (watch your head.)

An exceptional apartment! Central location, close to transport, close to restaurants, very clean and comfortable. It has all the necessary equipment for a perfect stay. We were greeted by Ines who also gave us recommendations regarding tourist attractions and restaurants. In conclusion: a perfect stay. Thank you!

Everything was perfect!

The property was quite clean and had everything we needed. It was located very close to a lot of activities.

The stairs are a little crazy, but it is what it is.

The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. Excellent bathroom.

Access was extremely steep, both walking to the property and the internal stairs. We would have loved a larger bed.

Location

Steep stairs to second floor unit. If you don’t mind to walk the stairs and small hills it’s a great place in proximity to all!

Central location. Clean apartment. The guy who met me with keys was lovely and bought me two Pastel de Natas which was very much appreciated!

The apartment photos used are not the apartment I stayed in. It was more basic. No air con. The location was central but the entrance is very unhill via several alleyways. As a solo female, it felt unsafe especially at night (and the host confirmed not to walk at night alone). The city view was a view of a building under construction 2 meters away. The light switches mostly came off the wall. Dark lighting and not much natural light due to buildings / lack of windows.

The door of the freezing compartment in the fridge was broken and our cheese, milk and joghurt was frozen after the first night ;-) We fixed it by squeezing in some cardboard to close the compartment. The lamp above the sink in the bathroom was flickering. Just 2 little things that need to be fixed, everything else was fine, WLAN works perfectly. The street and stairs to the appartment are both very steep which was not an issue for us, but for elderly people it might be a bit tricky :-)
