Bairrus Lisbon Apartments - Rossio

The place was nice, but the street where it is located seem to be not very safe, however everything was ok

I had a stay of 2 months in the apartment and it was super great. The apartment had everything I needed and was only 2 minutes away from the city.

Location, close to the city center

The neighbourhood, although there were four of us living close to each other, we didn’t feel safe, there were lots of homeless and really weird people around

Location was very near to the Rossio Metro. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are spacious. The washing machine is great too! Very comfortable.

That flight of steps in the accommodation up to your apartment is really steep and tight with a huge luggage. You really need some muscles to bring it up.

The apartment was well appointed and close to everything we wanted to see in Lisbon. Easy walk to harbour and lots of really good restaurants close to apartment. Also a supermarket close by. Our hosts were very helpful and supportive, giving us recommendations and help with taxis.

There are building works happening on the street which the hosts advised but they had no impact on our stay.

Good location, friendly staff. Juan got us some fruits and pastel de nata on the first day of the stay. A coin-operated laundry is within walking distance. Very clean, definitely NO bed bugs!

The short cut to Rossio Square has a terrible bad smell. Price is not attractive.

The place is infested with bed bugs. All of our belongings were infected and we have been dealing with a nightmare trying to get rid of them after staying at this location. The cost of treatments and the the many many bites from the infestation that has been transported to our house now is not worth staying at this location. Very sad that this property does not take better care to keep this from happening. Check out the pics of us having bed bug bites all over our bodies. The bites are taking weeks to heal and itch horribly. Sadly and irresponsibly, the property owner is not taking any responsibility for his apartment being infested. He continues to pretend that it is impossible for his apartment to be infested. Unfortunately, we have been suffering for weeks due to his ignorance and uncaring attitude towards his property. He will tell you that's impossible his place has bedbugs. Well, look at the pics folks. Our house has been infested by his supposedly impossibility that there are no bedbugs. Additionally, please read the many other 1 star reviews as the location of this property is in an area where it does not feel safe. We felt that we might be robbed or attacked constantly. It is located in a seedy area that is sketchy not just at night but during the daytime as well. Tons of noise from major construction projects throughout the day. The extremely steep stairs up to the room are not built to code and present an extreme hazard for fall and/or injury. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!!
