Hosts were really great, friendly, helpful,anything we needed at whatever time, they were there and always with a smile! And sunset from jacuzzi is just amazing...

On the arrival our host showed us whole house and its surroundings and provided all necessary information. As there is reconstruction ongoing on the ground floor I put a lower rating for cleanes, but it is only temporary and soon will be solved. Host is very helpful and can provide many valuable suggestions about region and everything you need for nice stay in Madeira. House is at the very end of road up the hill, so you have relatively quite surroundings and enough place to park car. There is lovely view both to sea and hills on the oposite side.

As house is at the end of the road up the hill, you better have car. Its only few km to the sea and shops, yet the hill makes it a bit challenging making it on foot. Host speaks english sufficiently good to provide main information. In written communication it is fully working. For spoken interaction, portugues is a big advantage. If you are comming from Funchal, at least for the first time, I suggest not to turn when navigation shows sharp turn to the right just before you arrive to your destination and continue to next curve, where you can turn back and than make entrance to the final road much easily. After one week you can make it directly on one turn wiht no ned to reverse gear :-) When you arrive nearly to your house, there is crossroad, so keep on going up the hill via road with the sign dead end street and soon you arrive to yeallow houses on the left hand side, which is your destination.

There was everythink what family need. Appartment was clean with beatiful view on the ocean. Our children loved the heated swimming pool and the hot tube. Owners Are nice people. We really enjoyed stay there. Thank you

Accomodation was very good. Good levada walk in close proximity. Very peaceful area in evenings. During day village vibrant with people going about their lives farming and doing construction work. Swimming pool and jacussi on site. Very little vehicle traffic on adjacent road.

We are fit people and able to walk comfortably so location was not an issue but note that property is located a long, steep walk from local amenities such as supermarket and nearest restaurants/bars/ cafes. Car essential in our opinion.

It is one of the last houses in the village. Quiet place. The entire apartment is available and you have all the privacy. The hosts were very nice and helpful people but it was littlw bit tricky to communicate in English. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was cold weather.

Difficult to find the place, you need to have a car. Some equipment is old. Kitchen is not equipped well.
