The location in Alfama close to most sights was perfect for us. The communication with Ana was great before and during our stay. She was flexible and went above and beyond in accomodating our needs. The apartment is small but cozy.

+ Location was good & bad. Good - it is located between Rossio & Alfama areas, easy to go to both and there are many nice restaurants within walking distance. Bad - see below. + there is a paid parking in the building right next to the apartment. + there is a supermarket in the building right next to the apartment. + there is a shortcut going to the closest metro station (Baixa-Chiado) - ask the host.

- Location - there are 30+ steps to get to the entrance of the building. There building has no elevator and the apartment is located at 4th floor. that means you have to carry your luggages and climb up the narrow stairs to the 4th floor, which was not easy for us with large suitcases. Even with no suitcases, walking up the stairs every time when we head back to the apartment was tiring.

Excellent location and a very accommodating hostess. Ana give us lots of valuable information and had a few treats for us on arrival.

Very nice host, Ms Ana. The location was great. Close to everything especially a good grocery store close by.

The steps, especially with luggage. To get to the building there are 30+ steps then 70+ steps to get to the unit. It was ok, but it's not for everyone.

Location was perfect, hosts were friendly and very helpful, had everything we needed for a weekend exploring the city. Very comfortable for the 3 of us and the cute little balcony and welcome goodies were a lovely touch

Excellent communication with host! Lovely person, Ana was extremely helpful with local information. The location was great. And the view was a bonus. The daily exercise regime of climbing 110 stairs to get up to the apartment prepared us for Lisbon and beyond :)

Sorry, but the air "freshener" hit me like a brick wall every time I entered the flat. If you are fragrance sensitive, this place is not for you.

Felt very welcome. A week before our arrival we already received a lot of suggestions for activities in Lisbon. The location was superb. The shops and the restaurants where very close to the apartment. And most of the time we used an über which is very cheap in Lisbon.

Ana was absolutely accomodating upon our arrival, which was before the check-in hours. She let us leave our baggages while she was still cleaning and arranging the apartment for us. Eventhough the apartment is on a fourth floor, the location is great, minutes walk from downtown yet super quiet. Excellent view.

I cannot think on one thing I didn't like, everything was great with Ana and the apartment.

The location was incredible we couldn’t have been more central. The views from the apt were wonderful. The host were so communicative. It was SoQuiet.

The 2nd bedroom was quite small in space, and looked out onto a very busy lookout so you cannot open your shutters completely.
