Alvaro's Charming Loft | AC

The host was cheerful and quick to respond. The apartment is represented well in the photos and was wonderful! The price was affordable for four people to stay. The furniture and decor are modern and new. The apartment was very clean and it is nice to have a washing machine and drying rack. They even had a little decanter of port to welcome us! You can walk to a small grocery story and restaurants. There is street parking that is free after 7pm.

One wall has all windows which is wonderful, but the view out of them was not very scenic. We were capable, but I can see that the stairs up to the apartment and the loft would be a problem if someone was limited in mobility or had heavy suitcases. The upstairs loft does not receive the cooling from the air conditioner, so we asked for a fan on the last night. You may want to do that before you arrive. The neighborhood feels safe, though is is on "the other side" of the river and some of the nearby apartments are in disrepair.

One of the two breakfast locations had a hard time understanding how to process the coupons. The location was quiet and convenient to the subway station.

The stairs going to the loft are very steep.

La ubicación está bien, al lado hay zona libre de aparcamiento (en rua Azevedo Magalhaes). Lastima que el ventilador no funcionaba pero por la noche abriendo las ventanas se estaba muy bien incluso en agosto. Cerca hay panadería que nos salvó los desayunos. La verdad estuvimos muy a gusto, todo correcto, lugar limpio y según la descripción. Las escaleras son bastante empinadas pero están bien (no son enclenques). El dueño es atento y responde rápido a cualquier pregunta, eso es un plus.

Las gaviotas hacen bastante ruido por la noche 🤣 Que no funcione el ventilador es algo que no esperas, pero aún así es un buen sitio (por favor reparen el ventilador de la planta de arriba)
