Porto by the River 1

Fantastic location just a few metres up a hilly side street from the river, close to good restaurants and bars. Washing machine and bathtub were an added bonus.

No complaints. It did not bother me but other guests might wish there was a TV.

Location was absolutely fantastic. Host was also excellent (there was a bit of muck around on my end for when I was to arrive but he was very patient and understanding and gave great directions). The room had everything I needed and I loved the little balconies. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Shower was maybe a bit average but it worked well enough so no real complaints

The location was perfect.

This apartment needs a thorough clean. Refrigerator wasn't working for the entire 4 days, only to be told its very hard to find a technician in Porto. Mould around the windows, curtains are filthy, pillows definately need replacing. Tile in doorway of bathroom missing and exhaust fan not working. These guys need to lift their game. Happy to take tourist money but not provide the service.

Entry is a bit difficult to find and it is steep to get to the front door.

Convenient location, spacious enough for two people. Nice view of the river and across. But do expect late night/early morning noice. You’re in the heart of it all.

Complimentary coffee/tea and a toaster would have been nice. Sofa bed wasn’t comfortable to sleep on, and the upholstery definitely needs a clean. Bathroom needs an update. But overall we enjoyed our stay. Parking across the road is a rip off. Try and find street parking which is free after 7pm or Telepark car park across the bridge.

Great location on the river and near restaurants, lovely staff who met you on arrival and provided recommendations nearby.

unfortunately we were unable to get the washing machine working and due to a power issue we did have the power short circuit on us late at night but they were great at helping us resolve it

It would be find a better location, close to river, restaurants and transport links.

The bathroom could benefit from updating. The shower was a hand-held shower head from the mixer tap, no convenient fitting for a hands-free shower; the bathroom lighting could be improved (no windows) with a light over the sink/mirror. Also the washing machine wouldn’t work due to an electrical issue with the supply; advising guests to access the circuit breakers in the consumer unit is not ideal.
