Casa d'Alfama by Lisbon Village Apartments

Great location, bright apartment, quiet at night.

The apartment was clean and had all utensils that's needed. The host was helpful to sort this.

The Toaster was faulty and tripped the main electricity feed at times. The shower is a bit small for a big person

Clean and spacious.

Car is not reachable to the location. Have to carry luggage for 200meters.

Tiny shower, water boiler expansion pipe drips onto toilet floor, toilet door latch had us locked in the toilet a few times!

The location is amazing. The bed is very comfortable. The apartment is open and Airy and very secure which, as a solo female Traveler, is important to me.

I assume these things will be fixed but the shower was barely functional. The wall holder for the shower head was broken so it was strictly handheld. The shower was so tiny with nowhere to put any products so trying to shower or wash hair or anything like that was, at best, super annoying and I am only 5'5" with no Mobility issues. In addition, the shower leaked even when it wasn't running onto the floor. So the bath mat stayed soaking wet. I think this has been an ongoing issue because opposite the wall there was a strong smell of mold. The Wi-Fi was functional most of the time but very unstable and frequently the speed was below 1 MBPS. At best it was three or four. The floor is a wood parquet in the bedroom. The section at the foot of the bed had numerous loose pieces that would come up whenever you walked across them. I frequently stay in historical areas and old buildings and I realized there are certain issues that come with that, which is fine. But there really needs to be some maintenance done on this apartment before it's rented out again

Great location, lovely apartment, very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend stay.
