Sta Catarina - Cascais Beach Apartments

The location was excellent. It felt like it had been serviced and not by owner. Clean but a bit gritty. Beds are very hard! No soaps paper towels one tiniest toilet roll..

Located in an old building. No lift. A drains smell that was at time very unpleasant!

Located close to beach and town. Short distance to walk to train station. Good AC in all rooms. Clean interior.

Continuous loud humming noise from 10.30am to 11.30pm every day vibrating through the apartment. Most likely from restaurant attached to the building. Discount of one night given but still a costly rental. View from balcony was of a derelict looking back garden with sheds and vents. It's not fit to sit out on. Fixtures and fittings in need of repair.

Accessibility to city centre and amenities.

The sewerage wish to be cleaned and prepared for the guests

Location, location, location!

It was pretty bare bones in the kitchen. We didn’t even have bowls. They could have had some extra blankets.

Location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to several fabulous beaches and the many great restaurants of Cascais. The apartment is bright and clean and has everything you need for a short stay. It is very secure, has great aircon, and shutters in each room - a must for sunny days. Vasco will check you in, and he can offer a transfer to and from the airport, and many great restaurant recommendations. Lovely guy who took a little extra time to drive us round to show us where the must-see sights of Cascais were in relation to the apartment.

Mattress on the double bed needs an upgrade as it is extremely hard. The safe doesn't work, however, we had no concerns about security as you go through three locked doors to enter your apartment.

The location was great. The apartment was value for money and reasonably comfortable. There was everything we needed we could have done with more towels, but no problem. All in all it was worth it.

We are both over 60 and we're on the 2nd floor with no lift so that was challenging with luggage. The beds were quite hard and silly things like loose taps in kitchen and bathroom. The balcony wasn't so nice as we were at the back, but there was nothing major wrong at all.

Unrivalled location. Modern. Definitely recommend.
