FLH Martim Moniz Terrace Flat

located in the heart of Lisbon, with many attraction points nearby, a lot of viewpoints at a walking distance, lots of shops, souvenirs, and restaurants. It's really easy to be reached from the airport directly with the subway, but there are a lot of stairs to climb, so mind the bags that you will be carrying. The staff is nice and managed to help us the last day. If you plan on cooking there, the kitchen is fully equipped, but you will need to buy everything, like salt, sugar, oil, etc. Overall, it was a nice experience, and if we return to Lisbon, we will consider staying here again.

unresponsive staff when we arrived, we had to call multiple times until some picked up, and then they didn't know exactly how to instruct us about finding the apartment inside the apartment building. During our stay, the keycode for the building door was changed and the staff was not informed so that they could inform us. We were lucky to find some neighbors to tell us the new code. The last day the staff was friendly and nice and helped us sort an issue as we didn't have cash to pay the city tax (btw, you need to leave the city tax in cash so be sure you have it prepared to leave it there when you check out).

Wonderful apartment, nice location, was clean and had everything that I was looking for. A very good a/c very quiet.

The shower is not working well, it needs to be replaced because the water is splashing everywhere. It has some mold in the shower glass division and the sink is not draining well. The bathroom drawer has a mold smell.. I think with little maintenance replacing the shower head and the silicone under the glass in the bathroom it will be enough.

the property was clean and had a nice outdoor space with a pool.

the property is located 15/20 minutes walk down busy streets from the location where you are required to pick up your keys. when you get to the property it’s quite hard to locate the correct flat and when I contacted staff we had no response to help. our air conditioning didn’t work at all, didn’t even turn on. I contacted the property managers through booking . com and was asked to use a WhatsApp number to contact them about the issue. when I did this I didn’t receive a response, and still haven’t, so we had no air conditioning for the duration of our stay, very disappointing. I think the air conditioning not working wasn’t great but being ignored by the staff definitely made it worse. there wasn’t really the option to open windows as the flat is on the ground floor right by the street. The staff were also rude and dismissive in person when we collected our bags. They do mention this but you have to pay in cash to store your luggage (€6 for first hour and €1 for each hour after). We were really disappointed in our stay and would not recommend.

Convenient location. Decent size. Reasonably clean.

Check-in process was poor. Apartment difficult to find. Unresponsive to online communications. A dearth of personal hygiene supplies. No free luggage storage. This felt like overpaying for underperformance.
