L’ancienneté électroménager mais pour 10 jours ce n’étais pas un soucis surtout à côté de tout les points positifs.

The apartmemt is very clean and has everything you need also in the kitchen. Its big sunny and has amazing views. The bed is also comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Captain's View apartment - our second time there. The view from the terrace is lovely with plenty of space for eating and sitting. The apartment is well equipped, clean and spacious. Great shower. Very comfortable large bed. Nice restaurants and boat trips in Calheta a short drive away. Parking on the road outside. Helen and Chris live above and messaged us to get in touch if we needed anything. We love Casa Serena.

You do need a car as there's not much within walking distance. There's some building work going on in the area, so some background noise, but probably the case all over Madeira.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Serena. Very well-located and offers a stunning view over the ocean and banana plantations :) Apartment was very spacious and cozy, and the hosts were extremly nice, leaving us a cute welcome gift and a few days later some bananas from their garden. We also thought it was very reasonavly priced and we'd highly recommend staying there.

1. While the apartment itself and the area are overall very quiet, due to construction works at various sites nearby, it got quite loud very early on, but we also understand that this is something beyond anyone's control. 2. It would have been good to have spare bedsheets especially for slightly longer stays.
