This very clean and spacious apartment was provided with everything that guests could need and had the most fantastic view

Stunning view. Well appointed. Good instructions from owners.

There is a huge amount of building construction ongoing in this area including directly below the property. Most works started at around 8am and finished between 5pm and 6pm accompanied by the noise of cement mixers, excavation diggers etc. Although we were out most of the daytime when we were in the apartment during those hours noise was intrusive. Although this is out of the hands of the property owners perhaps a caveat could be given to renters.

Unfortunately a little bit loud, because there were some work sites around.

Fabulous apartment in a stunning and convenient location. Easy access to nearby trails and sites. Supermarket 8min away and local quiet bars within easy walking distance (our favourite for pre and postcode hike refreshments was Bar Africano). Hosts, Helen & Chris, are superb: providing thoughtful welcome gifts and lots of little extras that make Casa Serena a geuine home from home. They discretely on hand if you need them, quick to reply to any messages and available for support if needed. We absolutely loved our stay, so much so we booked again for next year on day 1 of our trip. The facilities are excellent and the views from the balcony means every day starts with a real feel good factor. Thank you Helen & Chris.

Amazing large apartment with massive balcony with stunning views. Very comfortable large bed, massive bedroom with excellent hanging and storage space, well equipped and comfortable living and kitchen area, fresh wild mint growing in the garden so lovely for fresh mint tea throughout the day! Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Clear instructions for accessing the apartment. Excellent value for money for large hillside apartment with amazing views.

It was an excessively hot week and there is no air con in the apartment and while Helen did provide a fan it didn’t really work and so there was little respite from the heat. The apartment is located on a steep road (the whole island is very hilly!) and parking was on the roadside alongside the apartment and then the apartment is accessed thru a gate and a steep incline down to the steep steps down to the apartment door. It was good exercise (!) but not easy with heavy cases and it definitely wouldn’t be good for anyone with mobility issues.

One word tells all: amazing.

The apartment was espectacular. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hosts were amazing. Everything was extremely clean. They even left a book with recommendations and places to visit. 100% would repeat.

The view from the balcony is great. The owners left some pasta, sauce and wine for us. We were hungry after the PR1 hike that day so it was good.

Our stay at the hotel was unforgettable. Helen and Chris have created a truly heavenly place with fantastic ocean views. Everything was perfect and fully met our expectations. We highly recommend.
