Rita & Marino Apartment

The view from the apartments was great, the hosts were very helpful and responsive when we were unhappy with the apartment and helped us cancell our booking. The Wifi worked well. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment.

The access to the apartment was up some external street steep stairs and internal steep stairs as well. This wasn’t clear in the description and would be potentially dangerous if carrying heavy luggage. Not recommended for anyone with a disability or poor fitness. The apartment had 2 small bedrooms and one tiny bedroom and was much more cramped than the photos and description suggested. 4 adults would struggle. The description mentioned a sofa bed but this had been changed for a standard sofa. I slept in the tiny bedroom and it smelt of old socks. There were 2 noisy dogs living upstairs and you could hear them running and barking within the apartment. There was a washing machine but a very small external washing line so not really feasible to use. We ended up walking to a local laundrette. There was a fan but no air conditioning so it would be very hot in summer as you would have to shut the windows to keep out the noise of the barking dogs to sleep. The mentioned champagne and fruit but none to be found, we looked hard! Also not good value for what you got.
