Cantinho D'Os Reais

We arrived at this accomodation to find a snack of bread and meats placed on the lounge table which we really appreciated after a long drive. This is a full size house was perfectly clean with two bedrooms, a separate lounge and a spacious kitchen. A deck overlooking the river can be accessed from both the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. It is not big but perfect to sit on for a drink or meals. We did not meet Ana the hostess (we did not expect to), but she was really helpful with a small question that we had. As well as the previously mentioned arrival snack Ana had also placed a bottle of wine and two beers in the fridge for us. Bread was delivered to the door each morning for breakfast, along with cheese, meat and eggs which were in the fridge. There is a variety of local restaurants to choose from and close to many quintas.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

We never met the host, picked up keys from the shop owner on the first floor.

Nothing… everything anticipated.

The apartment was very well equipped with a lot of extras. From throw blankets for the chillier evening to soap for the washer. Very warm and welcoming!

Nada!! It was wonderful!

It’s very spacious and comfortable. The queen beds were also comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river. The host provided us with a bottle of wine, some breakfast food and each day a wonderful fresh loaf of bread was delivered to our door. The property is on the Main Street of Pinhão and convenient to the boat docks and restaurants although some restaurants were not open when we visited (April). We were able to park on the street near the apartment and we felt our car was safe. Recommend.

Very good breakfast. Loved the delivered fresh bread. Good location especiallly not having a car.

Better heat. Needed heat in the bathroom.

Cheese/meat platter on arrival and beautiful view over the river!

Good location but up a flight of stairs and no lift. Nice balcony with views over river. Lots of welcome gifts, fruit cheese ham and wine very much appreciated

The apartment was very cold typical of Portuguese houses this time of year. Needs heating especially in the bathroom. Difficult to get up and down stairs with luggage
