This accommodation is perfect for 2 couples because you have two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, is nearby several points of interest like mercado dos lavadores (Farmer's market), Rua de Santa Maria street where you can find many good restaurants, close to the port. The host is amazing and can help you with infos about the objective of the island. The apartament is fully equipped with all that you need.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Fatima's apartment in Funchal. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and hospitality extended to us by Fatima. The apartment itself was immaculately clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, making us feel right at home from the start. The location was perfect for exploring Funchal, with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Additionally, Fatima was incredibly helpful in providing recommendations for places to visit and dine, which added to the overall enjoyment of our trip. Overall, we cannot recommend Fatima's apartment highly enough. The combination of her hospitality, the convenient location, and the comfortable accommodations made for an unforgettable stay in Funchal. We can't wait to return! Friendly and helpful contact for the apartment.

The apartment is located by roundabout on a main road into Funchal and so road noise is an issue especially at rush hour.

Decor neutral and clean. Fully equipped with unexpected extras , tea, coffee, salt & pepper, etc. Toiletries decent quality. Beds are really comfortable. TV's great. Easy to relax outside as furniture was excellent. Fatima speaks perfect English and emphasises that she lives close by and could be contacted at any time.

Unfortunately the accommodation doesn't have air conditioning. There are 2 fans , one in the living room and one in the bedroom. However we would much prefer air con.

Amazing location, parking included and secure. Also the place was very clean and looked like it was just renovated. Overall great stay.

It got a little stuffy and hot at night, but overall we didn’t mind it because of some fans that were provided.

We stayed there for 2 weeks, the appartment was clean, great location from the centre, all restaurants, local activities were easily accessible about 10min walk. The rooms were cosy, comfortable, it really didn't lack anything. If it did, Fatima and Cristina were at hand to offer their help and assistance. It was flawless with amazing service to the point they advised where to go for sight seeing and hiking places to go to. Me and my family loved it so much that we will return again because of the way we were humbly treated with respect and care ❤️ . Having your own private bathroom is such a plus as you can shower and get ready in your time. The kitchen is a reasonable size and we did cook but small meals as we mostly ate out and made friends with the locals. At night it's been very hot and we did have fans which was heaven on a hot night and it helped alot. There wasn't anything that I didn't like apart from the tiny ants which was out of Fatimas control. We need to understand that the island before it was habited with ants, insects etc were already there before humans decided to live there, so it's just a little understanding it's a hot country and you will see these insects everywhere, it really isn't Fatimas fault at all. This didn't prevent me from enjoying myself at all nor my family. We just made sure we cleaned up after ourselves everytime we ate or cooked it was absolutely fine, we sprayed insect repelent which Fatima provided before we left the appartment to go out and that really worked. There is nothing I can say about staying in here apartment from 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
