The location was great, just a few minutes on foot to the metro station and very walkable to most major sights in Lisbons centre. The apartment is very bright and big. The 4 of us had plenty of space. We didn't use the kitchen so no idea how well equipped it is.

There's a smell of sewage in the stairwell but that didn't really bother anyone of us because the apartment did not smell at all. The building is quite old and the walls rather thin so you sometimes hear the neighbours, again that didn't really bother us.

Bathroom door wouldn’t close, and when it did you the struggled to get out

Quirky layout and a lovely homely and comfortable feel. Central location close to everything Lisbon has to offer. Check in handled very efficiently and cheerfully by John who even helped carry my case up the stairs to the apartment.

Whilst I knew from the listing that the apartment was on the third floor I hadn't quite realised that there were 72 stairs to climb - as an older traveller it was a bit of a strain but manageable! But maybe not the apartment for anyone with serious mobility issues
