Lemon Tree House Coimbra - Courtyard garden with city views

Small apartment (house number 43) fairly close to the center, accessorized and complete, which the manager made pleasant with various details. For the car, I point out a short distance away on the roadway below, a convenient free covered parking lot.

I must point out that it is more suitable for a young clientele. People with mobility difficulties might suffer possible inconveniences: 1) the location is along a slope; if (as happened to us) the road is not passable due to road works, reaching it on foot may be a little challenging. 2) here and there inside is a step that requires caution so as not to trip and risk injury. 3) the bathroom is rather small and narrow. In general, I report that on our trip in Portugal we stayed in several private facilities, which always did not have bidets (I do not know if this is just a case). I conclude by advising to bring cash with you, as many establishments do not accept cards, of any kind (debit, credit, ATM).

Lemon Tree House was ideal for our short break in Coimbra, it had everything we needed.

The bathroom was a challenge, the position of the wc wasn’t ideal but we managed to make it work for us.

Plenty of space and we'll furnished with a terrace with parking nearby. The host was easy to contact.

Toilet area a bit too small.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Nice little patio to enjoy.

The bathroom is nice but very tight space.

I highly recommend this place, fantastic views, such a quiet room, extra comfortable bed, kitchen is fully equipped and very appreciated little details as basic things to cook like oil, salt, coffee machine or kettle. All extras are included in the bathroom... Placed to five minutes on foot from city center, near to next river. The owner is always on line to resolve any dude or "problem" and super friendly. If I ever would have to come back to Coimbra, I wouldn't hesitate, I'd come back to Lemon Tree House.

Great location and lovely view of Coimbra. Well equipped apartment.

Nice location, very close to the centre but far out enough that the street isn’t too noisy. Easy to park. All facilities available including air con, water filter, tv. We were comfortable and apartment was clean. Terrace was also nice but we didn’t use it as it wasn’t private (people above us had to walk past it). Easy instructions to enter the property.

The bathroom is quite small - fine for us but might be tricky for some to get onto the toilet as it’s sort of under the sink. You can hear the apartment above very easily. For us it sounded like they had a dog as there was constant scratching and feet pattering.
