Casinhas da Ajuda nº25

We try to always stay here when we come to Lisbon. The place is lovely and homely. The owners are lovely. It’s in a lovely quiet area with a couple of local cafes and bars. But the main town is a 10 mins walk so there’s lots to do.

Nothing.

The apartment was very clean, cute, and comfortable. The neighbourhood is great and it was easy to get around. Plenty of spectacular sights right there; Museu do Tesouro Real and Palacio Nacional da Ajuda. Plus the 18E tram, one of the old ones!

Excellent location, with easy access to public transport stops, shops, and a variety of restaurants, making it a convenient choice for exploring the area. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. It was equipped with a heater and a dehumidifier, which added to the coziness, especially on rainy days. Overall, a pleasant and convenient place to stay!

The landlord had informed us in advance that the house was quite old, with thick walls, and that there might be some challenges with humidity, especially during rainy weather. During our stay, Lisbon experienced heavy rainfall, and as a result, we did notice a bit of a damp smell and a feeling of humidity in the room. However, the room was equipped with heating, which allowed us to warm the space and reduce the dampness, making it much more comfortable. I imagine this would not be as noticeable in the summer when the weather is drier and warmer. Despite this, we still had a pleasant stay overall.

This is a really nice place, for a family, for visiting Lisbon. Small apartment, with 3 beds (one double 2 solo), nice and clean toilet/bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can go to the nearby Auchan/Pingo Doce, buy some products and eat there. Not far away from the place, some quite good and cheap restaurants.

Everything was ok, but i thing an extra bigger pillow would be great for the solo beds. Also, if you want to travel with means of transport, prepare with patience there...

No.25 is an amazing apartment. Clean, comfortable and in a great, quiet location. The apartment owner, Leonor is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We’ve stayed in these apartments 3 times now it’s our go to apartment where we come. In fact I’ve booked again already for our next trip.
