Casa d Sintra

Carlos is a wonderful host. Even though the apartment is centrally located, the navigation systems have problem directing us. Carlos drove quite a distance to meet us so he can show us the way & also a place to park our car for free. The apartment is clean, well furnished & equipped with all the necessary household appliances. We were amazed by how well he decorated the apartment & the storage for household appliances

The apartment is difficult to locate using navigation tools but Carlos was very kind to drive quite a distance to meet us & lead us to his apartment

Everything around is a walking distance reachable. Carlos picked up from train station and brought us up to the apartment. all amenities that we needed were there.

slightly noisy but that's expected in touristic area. however it's quiet from ~ 10 pm

excellent stay! Carlos the owner was so kind and friendly. he picked us up from the train station and answered our questions and even helped arrange for an early morning taxi when we needed it. stay here!

The host was great - very organized and gave excellent advise. The apartment was beautifully designed, clean and well equipped.

The apartment is across from a cafe that plays loud music - they do end it around 7:30 pm but is can be irritating to listen to during the day.

Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained! The location was perfect for us. We rented a car while there, and a convenient (and rare) parking space was provided. We could walk to most of the places in Sintra and were only about a 30 minute drive from the beautiful Ursa Beach and the Capo della Roca. The owner was very helpful in explaining the parking, the surroundings, and giving advice for how to get to different locations.

excellent place to stay - clean, comfortable, well designed, functional, perfect location right in the old town and walking distance to most of the palaces, great value, owner was friendly and helpful

just know it’s a studio apartment so on the smaller side for our 4-person family (2 adults, 2 kids 10,13) but we were comfortable and didn’t feel cramped

Stylish and cosy self-catering apartment in the heart of the Sintra old town. Just opposite the national palace, 15 min walk away from Regaleira park and Setais palace, approx. 45 min walk to Moorish castle. Windows are facing to the small alley, which is quite busy in the day time but calm in the evening. Pots, pans etc for cooking, basic oil and salt for cooking, a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules. A smallish TV with a set-top box, plenty of channels. Wifi working fine. Everything you need to feel comfortable.

Be aware, that in the Sintra old town almost all the restaurants, cafes and bars are closing around 8-9PM (at least in February). There is only a small, expensive mini market nearby, but nearest Pingo Doce is approx. 2km away, in the Sintra new city center.

This studio is really cute and well thought out/designed. the location is just perfect and Sintra is such a lovely town.
