Bra läge, nära till mycket trevliga frukostställen. Fin balkong och väldigt rymligt.

Oerhört lyhört samt högljud gata med sophämtning och konstant trafik även nattetid. Även dålig svarstid på personalen, skrev tre gånger under tre dagar utan att få svar över huvudtaget.

The only thing that was probably disappointing was the bins across the road. Being so full as it was a lovely appartment

It was so lovely ! And also directly into the restaurant district with a lot of shops as well

The communication was very good. Very helpful. I booked the wrong Appartment, the previous apartment we have some months ago was not available. They tried to help out by putting a folding bed in. That was kind but the bed did not work. Legs in the middle broken so it collapsed! The direction to obtain the keys are also accurate and easy. The area is in the middle of Alfama

It is in the extreme need of refurbishment. We paid around £115 for one night and it was hardly worth £65! We were greeted in the bathroom by a large cockroach laying on its back! Old Appartment with draw front missing. Cracking floor panel, toilet/ bathroom door not closing. As mentioned this Appartment should not be rented out in this condition. Not at all representing an Appartment fully refurbished we had in November!

Theonly thing, which was great, was location. Really near by the city centre or walking distance to bus, shop or bakery.

Where to start. I travel a lot. I always look on reviews and I follow the advices from previous guests. This time I decided we want this apartment no matter why, especially for the location. First of all - room is very tiny. Very loud at night. Especially the garbage car at 2am. Then the neighbours above kept running and making noise above us, whole day, whole night. We couldn't even sleep two nights properly. The furniture in apartment needs renovation, the bed needs to be fixed ASAP or changed. The floor is dangerou as the wood tiles are loose. The door to bathroom is impossible to close. Sink in the kitchen really deep under the cupboard, so you need to sink in to wash dishes. There was like two drops of dishwashing liquid. No kitchen towel, neither paper one. No soap in bathroom. Only 1.5 of toilet paper for 3 nights/two people. There was like one glass of wine for two people. Dirty tiles in bathroom. A protruding nail in the ground. The adjustable chair kept sliding down all the time. Missing drawer in kitchen. There were lots of missing things. Very disappointed. Would never come back again especially because of the missing sleep we had there. Lots of maintenance to do here. Some things are very dangerous. Bad light in the living/bedroom. Only mirror isin living room and with poor light. No mirror in bathroom

Location

Unfortunately have to leave a negative review as it's impossible to sleep in the apartment - it's so loud outside, 2-3 times trash collection at night, bottles being collected at 2am, even people talking - you can hear everything from the apartment as windows and doors are not soundproof, have holes and the apartment is on the 1st floor. I flagged this to the nice reception lady and she said 'ill discuss this with the manager' - they never came back to me, so I had zero sleep in 3 nights. Hope this review will finally make the manager change balcony and main doors to soundproof. Also, the sink in the bathroom: you have to lean forward every time as the wall is angled.
