Graca House

Everything was excellent!!! The hostess...was such a helpful and nice lady! Best location..few minutes walk to the center, few minutes walk to Alfama ...famous tram 28 stops right in front of the house. We strongly recommend it! 💕

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Large terrace is a nice bonus for kids to move around a bit. We also appreciated some kids toys. Apartment was clean and really had everything we needed and more. Good and quiet air-conditioning however we didn`t even need it. Comfortable bed and kids slept on sofa where the owner kindly placed an extra mattress. The owner was nice and comunicated well, in advance, on time and was helpful. Lisbon airport was one big chaos when we arrived in the evening (we could not get any taxi or Uber to take us for a very long time, very frustrated with 3 kids and late hour) but the person handing over the keys waited patiently for us with no complaints. Tram 28 stop is at the building door. Lidl nearby (needs a little walk but not far), other groceries even closer. We recommend Savas for a nice breakfast and coffee and then walk straight up the stairs for an amazing Lisbon view point. From there we walked further down to chek out the city center. Just a note: the building does not have any lift (which is common in the city) and it takes few sets of stairs down to carry all your suitcases and walk to reach the apartment (and upstairs of course on the way back). But we managed with 3 kids and all suitcases, it did not bother us (we did not have a pram though). We definitely recommend the place.

Perhaps a warm water in shower. It was a litte tricky for kids to shower as it took some time for warm water to come in and then it very quickly changed to cold and then warm again so tricky for kids to stay there with water temperature changing ( and we only took short showers). But we could manage.

There is a tram 28 stop at the front door. Pedro is very considerate and responsive to our requests. We love the private terrace too.

Mostly everything was great. I however was woken up nightly by some noise from planes.

Graca is a sparkling busy district inside Lisbon. There are several supermarkets nearby and the Intendente metro station is also close. The flat is big with two rooms and a huge terrace, where you can sit down at the end of the day with a glass of wine. The place is very well equipped (washing machine, kitchen, coffee machine, fridge, shower gel, towels and a comfortable couch), even Netflix is available on the TV.

We arrived to a well cleaned place, but at the beginning after giving the keys, the host walked through it with the same shoes she wore on the street. We met a cockroach in the bathroom.

Clean and perfect location

This property is ideal for a stay in Lisbon. Although the apartment is down two levels in the basement it is light and airy, having a patio out the back. Since we our stay was during winter, we appreciated the comfortable sofa and the large screen TV (Netflix and Youtube included) in the evening. A major plus is the location with the bus and tram stop (the iconic 28 tram) outside the door and the metro is only a 5 minute walk. Also there is a Lidl supermarket nearby.

The flat was very clean and spacious, the kitchen included everything you need to have.

The apartment had a great terrace and was not too far from restaurants and shopping. It was quiet and very spacious and the bed was comfortable.
