Baixa Chiado Áurea Apartment

Amazing apartment - very clean and the location was so good - only 3 mins walk from the Metro stop and lots of lovely places, shops, restaurants and bars close by. It was also an excellent place to stay for Web Summit. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the living spaces were very stylish and the shower was great. Thanks for a great stay!

The only minor issue was getting in - we had issues opening the door with the provided code and the host didn't quite believe that the code was incorrect. However, this was swiftly resolved as he came out to help us.

The location is perfect, walking distance to main sightseeing places and the metro station. It is about 25min from airport by taxi. There are plenty of places around to enjoy your breakfast, lunch, coffee, pastries... The apartment has two bedrooms (one with a large bed and the second with two single beds), a main bathroom with shower and a smaller bathroom (without shower). The living room is huge, it has two big sofas and the kitchen is quite spacious as well. It comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, spacious fridge, plates and cutlery stuff. AC is available in every room and works well. Plus there is a lift to carry your suitcase upstairs. Super helpful 👌 We really liked this apartment.

As the apartment faces the street, it can be a bit noisy for those with a light sleep, even with all windows closed. There are buses and cars passing by frequently.

It was in a very good location. Using the door codes was convenient. There was a washer / dryer which was the biggest bonus since we stayed 5 nights. The shower had good pressure and good amount of hot water. The apartment is roomy although the layout is a bit strange. It had two bathrooms but only one shower.

We had to buy our own toilet paper if we used more than one roll. The couches had no throw pillows so it was uncomfortable unless you brought in your bedroom pillow. There was only one pillow per person and I usually sleep with two. The cleaners missed under the couch - there was a bottle of iced tea that came rolling out when I fixed the blanket that covered the couch (that was also strange). There was also another piece of trash there too. It was noisy at night from activity outside the apartment as well as coming from inside the building. The freezer was frozen shut so couldn't use it.

nicely decorated and very large living room & kitchen. really appreciated that shower gel, laundry, dish soap and dishwasher soap were provided.

Location was a bit noisy even with double windows and shutters closed. Very hectic and touristy neighborhood.

The apartment is huge and comfortable and clean. the location is close to many restaurants, shops, sights etc.
