It’s very clean and comportable. Host is very kind and nice. If you ask something to host. He responds promptly. Welcome porto wine is really good.

Hospitality - The host met us in person to pass us the keys despite we reached quite late (around 5.30pm) and also showed us literally everything we need to explore the city of Porto! There is a huge panoramic picture of beautiful Porto right on top of the bed and also a detailed map right before you enter the room. We were being shown where to get the best Francescinha, where to get fresh seafood, where to walk around etc. They also prepared us delicious orange madeleines and a bottle of Port Wine - a very warm gesture to welcome us to the stay. Location - Bonfim is a rather slow-paced neighborhood located next to the river bank, and just 15-minutes (walk) away from Porto Cathedral. It is quiet and beautiful especially in the morning with no tourists bustling around. It is also located just 5-minutes (walk) away from the Dom Henrique bridge where you can get marvelous view of Porto. For the brave-hearted, one can even walk down the steep road beneath the Dom Henrique bridge and across the road to get to the most iconic Luis I bridge. Not to mention, there is an Austrian Restaurant just downstairs serving really good food that we enjoyed a lot. Overall, the location is perfect. Facilities - The apartment has complete kitchen facilities that had us cooked two meals - one breakfast and one dinner. Hood, hob, oven etc to kitchen utensils - pots, pans, turner, plates, mugs to basic condiments. They also have washer that let us do our laundry; TV to keep us entertained when we're cozying away at night. At the end of our stay, the host met us up again to bid us farewell.

Heating Facility- One issue we had with the apartment was the size of heater and placement of air-conditioner. There was only one portable heater available and one air-conditioner unit that blows air at the direction of the entrance of the apartment. Kitchen and bathroom area that is facing away from the air-conditioner unit were tad cold, and it was too cold for us during our sleep in the first night stay, probably also due to the foggy and cold weather.

We enjoyed our stay at daPraca and were sorry that we were only staying one night between tours. Our host was great, organising a transfer from the airport and being there to welcome us and explain the apartment facilities to us. He was in close communication with us and we really appreciate being able to leave our luggage in the apartment. We also loved the welcome port and cakes on arrival. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Porto.

Joao was a very hospitable, helpful and responsive host. Sparkingly clean, comfortable and well-appointed apartment. Quiet, safe neighbourhood with arty vibe. Short walk from the city centre. Lovely terrace and courtyard garden. Excellent port and homemade muffins as a welcome treat! We also liked Donau the Austrian cafe on the street-level of the same building.

We didn't stay long enough to use the BBQ in the garden. Nothing to not-like really. It was perfect!

Well presented studio apartment within a beautifully renovated building. The room was spacious, with good kitchen facilities and extras like a coffee machine. The port and muffins plus bottle of water were a nice touch on arrival. Joao was a fantastic host and supplied us with loads of recommendations and checked in with us during our stay. Location is excellent, as you can walk to the central area in around 15 mins. A nice walk too. This means that you are far enough away from the crowds and busy tourist area, but still have good access to restaurants, bars and shops.

The apartment is above a restaurant which is open late on a Fri & Sat, so we did experience some disturbance one of our nights. Fortunately it closed at 10am on the Sun and was closed Mon & Tues. So really didn't affect our stay, and not an issue if you stay out later! The drains in the bathroom were a bit unpleasant at times, apparently due to the storm we had on our first day clogging up the building drainage.

Self catering apartment, everything we needed was in apartment, lovely white thick towels

Located in a quiet residential area, around 15 minutes walking from the centre, close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and groceries. The appartement has two lovely terrasses (although the weather did not really allow us to enjoy them). Bathroom is lovely and well equipped. Bed and sofa bed are very confortable.

The restaurant downstairs may put the music on quite loud (until 10.00pm during the week and until midnight on Friday’s and Saturday’s) if they are not aware that the appartements upstairs are occupied. The owner did warned them on the second day of our stay and they put down the volume. When cooking, the extraction chimney of the restaurant which is at the level of the terrasse is quite noisy. The apartment is equipped with double glass windows which insulate quite well from the noise though.

Had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Lovely terrace and garden.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The communication with the staff was great. We had a great reception that included homemade muffins and wine. The host couldn’t be friendlier and helpful. I would totally recommend it
