Invicta House Loft Boavista

the place itself is good, sunny mansard, planning is nice and everything supposed to be well - but the place needs love and care.

instead of ‘good vibes’ on a small table - dirty cloth with hair on it. the bed was fool of hair like sheets were there from previous guests. bathroom welcomed us with black hair in the sink which hardly can be missed when cleaning (see photos) and mold was all over the ceiling in the bath. after all, when we decided to leave, hosts ignored us, never responded on our claim. i still hope to receive at least partial refund because we had to get another accommodation.

Reasonable size. Big bathroom. Lift

No kettle. Sheets were stained. Bed was hard. No button to flush the loo.

Unfortunately the fridge, the wifi and the AC all did not work at all…

The instructions were clear and very easy to understand, access was good and there's an elevator. You get the whole flat which is great for the price!

There was some mold on some of the walls and there's a little door to a kind of storage room or something that is on none of the pictures which we were kind of scared of at first.

Location - it's just two or three metro station from a center of Porto, but very nice neighbourhood and lots of stuff to see and where to eat next to the place. Metro station is like 5minutes away from the location.

Water pression in the shower was not strong, but it was not a big deal. Some small door for the storage space were broken and open.

The view and light airy feel when windows were opened. Also liked the quiet private feel.

The fridge did not work and we had just bought food for several days. The aircon also did not seem to offer any cool air in a smallish loft on a hot day. Bedside light awkward to read by. Windows have wooden shutters which cannot be secured and flap in the wind hence noisy and easy to hit head on them if getting up in the night.
