Apartment was pristine, but the building was showing its age.

although in an old building, the appartement itself was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. kitchen has all you need, very nice bath- and bedroom, terrace. P in front, restaurants, coffee and a supermarket around the corner ... we had a very pleasant stay !

Very nice appartament, quiet, with good equipement, 5 min walk from Portella de Sintra train station, supermarket also at 5 min . Rui, our host, is flexible and ready to help.

At 45 min by train from Lisabon.

Good location, free street parking around the corner, close to Pingo Doce for groceries, close to Main Street, can see Pena Palace and the Moor castle in the hill; gracious host with a fantastic mom who greeted us on arrival.

Had to take luggage up the stairs, but ok for us; two big dogs across the hall who barked occasionally.

Big flat with free parking near it in 20 min from city center. You have there everything you can think about in kitchen, including coffee machine,washing machine and so on

Very warm & clean like back home, comfortable & relaxing. Close to supermarkets. Rui is helpful host to carry our heavy luggage’s to guesthouse - Glad!!!

Improve hot water of shower

The apartment is situated in an old building, but has been very stylishly equipped. It was clean, the kitchen was supplied with all kitchenware for preparing own breakfasts and meals and the bedrooms are spacious and perfect for accommodating a family of 4. The host was very welcoming and answered all our questions and requests promptly.

Since the building is old, we often heard the neighbors, but it didn't bother us. When we visited in fall, it was already getting cold so we switched on the Radiators to warm the apartment. It takes a while in the morning, but then it gets very comfy.

Great price for a comfortable, 3 bed sunny apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. The host was very nice and quick to respond. Convenient location near the train station, walkable to the pick up spots for bus tours etc. A few blocks from a grocery store. Nice little Cafe around the corner. Thoughtful, charming decor and overall very clean aside from a bit of mildew in bathroom. I could see a family with kids enjoying this space, it already had a high chair inside.

Just a heads-up for accessibility the apartment is up a few flights of stairs. The tub area had a bit mildew, I would have preferred not to have the slip protector inside tub, it didn't feel hygienic for a short-term rental. Although we were on our honeymoon, we decided to not sleep in the larger sized bed, because it was much brighter in that bedroom and the spring mattress did not seem as comfortable. We pushed the two single foam mattresses beds together and were comfortable in the darker bedroom.
