USLocation was perfect. Very clean place and comfortable. Host left a bottle of wine and some coffee in the apt upon arrival.
Not much of flexibility in terms of getting the keys from the host. It needed to be scheduled but she was available if you had any question.

Washing machine almost brought the apartment down and locked all our clothes inside. Apartment big old and tired. No parking. Have to pay too $$ out on street along way from the apartment
GBThe location was excellent. Cascais is a lovely place to stay. The beaches nearby are lovely although busy peak season. Lots of really good bars and restaurants in close proximity. Local sights - Art gallery and Boca do inferno worth visiting. Equipment and most of the facilities also good. Unfortunately all a bit tired and in need of some refurb and repair.
Signs of mould on the walls, curtains dirty. Bathroom door doesn’t fit and scrapes the floor noisily. The dishwasher wasn’t working, smelt and contained dirty dishes on arrival. We contacted the host who promised a visit the next day. We stayed 11 nights. She didn’t arrive or follow this up. Washing machine moved across the floor during spin cycle, blocking the bathroom door. The shower didn’t drain properly, so every shower involved paddling in deep water, tiles in the shower were loose and also dirty, and by the final days of our stay the bathroom floor flooded as a result of the blockage. If I could upload more photos I would be able to show more clearly.

The air condition leaked constantly i informed the owner/agent and put towel down as requested. Spotlessly clean, but lots of touching up needed. Dirty curtains Shower unit very small and temperamental. I sent detailed checkout email to owner with no response

I travel a lot and there are things that are naturally expected, like small shampoo, an xtra towel etc . Amenities where not all there, and different than listed and there was no real effort to correct it. The location to beach is lovely, however the windows need to be closed because anyone can climb in. The was an unpleasant smell, probably due to the rain, and just the place having to be closed off. There are things like a pulled out outlet that needs to get fixed, and a window off the hinge and apparently a stolen remote for the tv as well as a coffee maker that was not working. I did let the host know and they said they would pass it on to the owner. Again, no effort to take care of us and correct it at the moment. I would not stay there again, and I do hope they take the time to correct these issues and I will add to all travelers that the area is mostly cash based. Go to the multibanco atm to get out cash if you need it, the other atms charge 3,95 per transaction. Also, some restaurants take cc cards, but the one we went to was going to charge us additional 10% to use it. This info would also be useful to add to the welcome book that is in the room for travelers.
