USGBWas greeted by a Fernanda on arrival and we were very early but she allowed us to store our bags in apartment and go off whilst they did changeover. Apartment was in amazing location for our needs; the layout was very good and facilities excellent. It was very clean and a bottle of wine left for us. Communication from Fernanda was perfect and she was helpful throughout our stay when needed. We were lucky enough to be able to have a late checkout as no one in straight after, so when they can allow late check out, they do. Their was plenty of hot water for showering and the en suite was a good size, even housing the washing machine.
There wasn’t anything we disliked about the apartment but the building is an old building and it would be fair to remember that with old properties comes their little quirks. However, it is maintained well and a lot of care has been taken to make the apartment fashionable and modern. Perhaps consideration for 2 beach towels and small beach umbrella as this property is so close to the beach!

NLClose to main area of Cascais, lots of restaurants and shops etc. The bed was comfortable and the host left a bottle of rose which was a nice touch.
Air conditioning in the bedroom was broken and faulty in the main room. When the host was contacted they simply advised it worked previously. The water all smelled terribly of sulfur, including the washing machine so it wasn’t fit to wash clothing. The pillows were all yellowed. The hot water tank was small and only enough for one hot shower. No cleaning products or shower products were available on site. The bathroom door is not properly sized for the room and drags against the floor loudly.

Room was too hot to sleep comfortably and AC not working in bedroom. Sofa bed in living room not very comfortable. Bathroom door wouldn’t close properly. Strict check in hours and in person meant having to wait several hours to be able to get in which was clearly stated to be fair but lack of flexibility means wasting half day of short holiday whereas other places during our holiday were much more accommodating.
