Admirable 1 bedroom Marina view apt. Albufeira

Host met us with the keys and gave us a tour of the apartment.

Good value. Nice, clean, cute apartment. Great host, very attentive and helpful.

View was the only plus,unhelpful,unavailable owner (Joaquin)who left the apt the last 3 days without hot water he even said had he known the day before he was only 15 minutes from the apt, he definitely has his priorities n order!!!!went texting how it was to b fixed omg,terrible pillows which he wouldn't replace,heavy traffic late an early,including a train outside the bedroom window,no pool loungers or brollies there had been 12 loungers the first 2 days these disappeared i was told that was because they belonged to owners,taxi's unable to find the apt as it's not a complex as portrayed stating "security daily" absolutely none,noone to interact with re problems like the added layer of security and responsibility you get in a complex, it's just a privately owned apt within a block of apartments where the apt overlooking your balcony is only a few feet away,when the address is given to a taxi they are up and down looking for it on google maps as admirable apt means nothing,it's also falsely advertised stating beach 600m away,the nearest beach is 3kms away !! My holiday was completely ruined by the apt not being what it was portrayed and the arrogance of the owner,when I return to Albufeira I will definitely stay at the Apartmentos Turístoíos da Orada, who treated me so kindly,something one appreciates when left in such a vulnerable position by the owner,who I incidentally overpaid him for the last nite in cash and having been treated so cruelly in such terrible weather and had not given any business to this complex and they went out of their way to be so kind,Joaquin you have an awful lot to learn regarding rentals and customer relations.........This is NOT a 3 bedded apt,it has 1 very hard double bed with absolutely terrible pillows.

From the onset the owner was very indifferent and vague,sending a pic of the outside of the apt block and that was to b the meeting point,now considering it was an apt block not known to taxi's proved to b a very frustrating experience,had I known admirable apartments meant nothing and was privately owned without assistance,I'd never ever have booked it,but the real shocking and frightening aspect of it started 3 days before arrival,when I messaged regarding the meeting point as just a pic of a door an block number didn't seem to b sufficient little did I know then just how insufficient it was,but my point is the reply I got said"the apt is rented " I obviously immediately rang him and he declined the call so panic was setting in then,so I messaged again and he replied "there's nothing toʻ speak about "now at this stage this was a horrific response so I had to send a screenshot of my paid booking to which he casually responded that he had the wrong client in mind and that my booking was in order,phew he thought then that if he left biscuits and fruit it would compensate for his incompetence which incidentally are still there.On the departure date, I know he had availability the next day as he had said it earlier ) there was torrential rain and late flight asked for a late check out but he point blankly refused stating that he had a cleaner arriving at 11am for the next guests who weren't arriving till the next day,this was pointed out to him coupled with the fact of the stormy weather with heavy rains an thunder,but no he kept insisting that the apt be vacated before 11am,so was left standing inside the front door for the rains to clear a little, until 2pm and the so called cleaner never arrived.

Well located, very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Good communication with the owners.

Everything about this apartment is wonderful. So clean, comfortable and in the most perfect location. Minutes from the lovely Marina with a lovely selection of bars and restaurants. We stayed last year and couldn't wait to return again this year. Very well equipped for self-catering. The host Joaquim is a pleasure to deal with.

Very spacious and well furnished property with lovely view of the marina. Was very well equipped for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Great location with shops and bars close by and only a 15 min walk to the old town.

Location was perfect.

The stay was lovely and relaxing, the pool was great with a view over the marina . Joaquim the host was ver attentive and was there if we needed him. We had really good weather which also added to the experience. Would recommend 👍

The appartment is big, clean and does have everything you need to make it a perfect home from home. The location is perfect, you literally are on top of the bars and restaurant, but the bars respect your living above and they do not allow headbanging music,we never heard any noise after 10pm. It's a 30 minute walk to the Old Town or you can catch the bus or a tuktuk. The owner Joaquim was brilliant he allowed us a late check out at 2pm, but not always possible, it will depend on the arrival time of the next occupants. There is also a full size pool on the ground floor if you don't fancy a walk to the beach

I can honestly say there wasn't any negatives about the appartment or the location.
