Admirable 1 bedroom Marina view apt. Albufeira

This apartment is fabulous. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location. Minutes from the lovely marina.

There is nothing to dislike.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The pool was quiet the whole week we were there which was great too.

The property was very spacious and clean. It had everything you could possibly need including iron, ironing board and hairdryer which was amazing. The balcony is great, you get the evening sun to look out over the marina. It is a great location but very easy to get a taxi outside if needed. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The host was very accommodating and communication was brilliant. Nearby - The Cake Shop SM do the best brunch, Viva La Ciccia was the best evening meal we had, Castello di Norcia best sunset views with a meal.

The bed was a little bit firm for our liking but was ok for 1 week :-) everything else was perfect.

Stayed for 4 nights, cheap break, wasn't expecting much from the apartment but it was absolutely amazing! Kept in touch with the host via WhatsApp which was super handy as could update him on our arrival time (was later than expected because of issues with taxi). Was outside waiting for us. Showed us around the apartment. Had the sofa bed out ready for us as had our son and thought we might want to use it. We actually all slept on the sofa bed during the stay together. Loved the location on the marina (couldn't find a hill though so had to carry pushchair down the steps but maybe we missed it). Only 20min walk to the beach too! Tuktuk was about 10 euros from apartment to the beach, think the land train goes regularly too but didn't use it. The apartment literally has everything you could need, especially the kitchen! Fully kitted out... More than my own house I think! Towels provided too, even gave us extra for the pool as had asked if these would be available (we only had hand luggage allowance). Couple of toiletries available (not sure if these were from previous guest though). Lovely little balcony over looking the marina with table and chairs. Pool area was very quiet, only one other couple there everytime we went. Also had some leaflets etc on the coffee table with lots of info and attractions which we found really helpful. Honestly cannot recommend enough and will be visiting again. Thank you for a great stay!

Only thing is that one side of the sofa bed isn't fully attached and we'd wake up in the night with a gap, but we still chose to sleep there together and did us fine. Maybe if was a bigger group of people and had no choice but to utilise the sofa bed and for longer period might be an issue but wasn't for us. Struggled with the door lock a few times but think it just takes some getting used to.

The apartment was in a great location. Great facilities and spotless. Old town only a short walk away. Owner allowed us to check out late due to flight time at no extra cost.

Everything was fine, nothing negative to comment on.

The location was fantastic but the actual apartment was out of this world!!!

Lovely apartment, very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The apartment is nicely located, about a 15 minute walk along the coast from the centre of the old town and there is a good-sized Intermarché about 10 minutes walk away so a car is not necessary. We were late arriving at the apartment (because of flight delay) but our host was very obliging and didn't make an issue of it. We will definitely return if we can.
