Roomy and nice balcony

Nothing it was a good place

Flat was nice from inside and the location is just great. Value for money was good. It is also really important that we were able to leave the bags to the hallway while waiting. Beds were hard enough.

No space to be outside (real balcony) or nice view. Disturbing noices from hallway every morning, door frame is not sound proof. Balcony door locks are not working properly. Fridge is really small specially for bottles.

Perfect location to explore Funchal! Everything was clean and well equipped, the contact with Rita with really nice, uncomplicated and fast!

- Quiet hours after 9pm; we were never really loud, but you always felt a little bit uncomfortable when you were enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony after 9pm. Haven‘t had such early quiet hours ever. - extra charge when you put make up in the towel. I mean…. every woman knows the struggle that even when you wash your face, you sometimes put some rest make up (especially when it‘s waterproof) in the towel. Not on purpose! I don‘t understand the problem: you can wash towels really hot, or otherwise provide black towels instead of white ones.

The apartment was in a central location near the port and municipal park and a large supermarket. Plenty of restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. Many opportunities for boat trips and lovely gardens to visit nearby. The accommodation was very spacious except for the kitchen/dining area.

I had said I was looking for a quiet apartment but it was overlooking a busy street restaurant which was noisy early in the morning and late at night when tables and chairs were being dragged onto/off the street. The entrance door to the building did not close well and other visitors usually slammed the door shut, as well as their apartment doors. The shower needed to be repaired as the wall bracket was missing, and the shower head had to be hand-held. The kitchen area was very cramped, with little space for food preparation and not much space for storing food.. The fridge door did not close properly and there was no icebox or freezer compartment. Also no corkscrew or bottle-opener. Patches of plasterwork in the bedroom were crumbling off the wall.

Location

The check in process was simple, the apartment is spacious and clean, the location is central.

To park a car in the area is a nightmare, and it's really easy to get a parking ticket. The check in time is absurd, 4.30 PM doesn't make sense.

The location was good and the apartment was spacious and equipped with necessities.

There were a lot of black mold in the bedroom right above the bed, there are also cockroaches in the apartment and we found a dead lizard behind the bedroom door

A very comfortable, clean, tidy, and spacious apartment. It's located right in the city center on a beautiful pedestrian street. The apartment faces the back and is very quiet. There’s a paid parking lot within a short walking distance – highly recommended to reserve in advance if you're coming by car, as there’s no parking in the area. Highly recommended!
