Sun Island Apartments

Excellent location, just above the shopping centre, next to the taxi stand and bus stop, and only 5min walk from the natural pools. The noise from the street is negligible, I slept with the windows open and had absolutely no issues (it does get a bit busier during the day, but most likely you'll be out exploring anyway). Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing apartment with excellent location next to ocean and a shopping mall as well. Everything we needed (groceries,restaurants etc.) was a matter of a one-minute walk. The view from the apartment was wonderful,we could enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while looking at the ocean. The rooms were very clean,spacious and they were equipped with everything you need for your vacation. The apartment comes with a parking space right inside the building with very easy access. The hosts were very helpful and kind.

Good place to start the excursions. Apartment has own parking place in the garage. You can find a large shopping center Forum Madeira next to the apartment. You can buy everything there for the next day excursion. Seaside and good restaurants very near in Rua da Ponta da Cruz.

It is a center location. If you open the window it is a little bit noisy.

The apartment is incredibly spacious and tastefully furnished. It is the kind of comfort you want on a trip. The bedrooms have comfortable beds that promise a great night's sleep, though the street right next to the apartment is a little bit noisy at night. The balcony is very nice with a stunning view. Having a closed garage for your rented car adds a sense of security. It is well-located as well, making it easy to get around. The well-equipped kitchen and the reliable internet connection make it feel like you have all the conveniences of home. A fantastic experience overall!

An incredible apartment that had everything! Gorgeous ocean view from the living room and the 50 foot balcony. Amenities like hot pot, coffee machine, washing machine, portable fan, full kitchen, fast WiFi with a good signal. The location above the modern Forum Shopping Mall was an added plus with a variety of stores and probably the largest grocery store on the island. Communication with the property manager was great and pleasant. Easy access to public transportation, taxi and the Airport Express Bus.

Parking was a little confusing with the level on -1 but apartment elevator was -2. Took some time to learn which parking ramp to enter. Garage door remote control was working intermittently, but was fixed by buying a new battery. Could never figure out how to operate the dishwasher. Lol

The apartment is in a perfect location for restaurants cafes shopping and getting in and out of Funchal
