The location is excellent for exploring the town. You can walk to or from the station but if you have suitcases with wheels its better to get an Uber (about Euro3) due to the cobblestone footpaths. Pedro and Claudia, the owners/operator met us on arrival. Pedro kindly carried our heavy suitcases upstairs (there is no lift). Claudia gave us a map and some good suggestions for sightseeing and eating.

Riacentrum exceeded my expectations! We have been in different residences during our trip through Portugal, and I can say that Ricacentrum was the best. The apartment is fancy, comfortable, and modern, with everything you need to have a good time there. The location is the best, within walking distance to the most attractive regions of the city, including restaurants, shopping, and the river. Pedro and Claudia are just excellent, very professional, and sweet, and they gave us fantastic tips for our trip, not only in Aveiro but also for our next stop, like Coimbra. I recommend this as the place to stay; you can visit other cities from there.
