Cavalo Prеto Holiday apartment 200m to the beach

Beautiful apartment, brand new and lovely modern finish! Nice little balcony, with table and chairs and loungers. Air conditioning in lounge and bedrooms. Beds were comfy and nice bathrooms. Had all the facilities like iron and board, hairdryer and kitchen ware. The photos are representative of what you get. The owner had left water and bottle of wine in the fridge along with fresh bread. Home grown tomatoes and melon, which was really sweet! He also helped us with transfers to and from the airport, and was reliable. He apologised he didn’t know much English but we got by! The complex is quiet and safe (gated) and majority of other owners/holidaymakers were family or couples. The beach is minutes away, as are local restaurants and shops, we walked further down to Villamoura beach too which took about 25mins but all flat along the parade of shops and restaurants. We got Ubers into Villamoura Marina for about €5 euros in the evening. Overall a really lovely stay - we went end of June so still relatively quiet!

The only thing was maybe the view marred by construction of new apartments but we were aware of it ahead of arrival and they were the quietest builders ever! So although a little unsightly did not impact our stay and when finished will have the sea view and will be lovely!

The fact that an enormous building site directly across from apartment - blocking the publised views. They knew it was like this when i booked and i feel like i was deliberately mis-informed about this via omission.

Great location just a 2 minute walk from the beach. The apartment was sparkling clean.

Unfortunately, there is construction in front of the apartment building which sadly blocks the view of the beach. The construction work started at 7am until 9pm so it's a bit noisy.

Being able to liaise with the owners regarding the building work and constant dust on the patio which made it impossible to use for the duration of the holiday
