Location good.

Door key not working properly. Apartment smelled like a sewer! Hot water very inadequate. Towel rack heater not working. Washer broken.

So central and lovely space for a family of 4, we were right in the middle of it all and enjoyed our stay very much. Host was amazing, very helpful and overall a lovely place to stay in Sintra!

"Book it for the location if you want to live as central as possible."

Great location in the middle of everything (although it comes with the cost of noise in the early morning hours). We walked to both Pena Palace and Quinta Da Regaleira from the appartement.

The appartement had a bad smell. There was a sewer smell from the bathroom and mildew smell in general. I get that it is an old building, but still. It is difficult to park near buy the appartement, so you have to carry your luggage some way (unless it is before 8 AM or after 8PM). The city center is closed for normal traffic during these hours. If you bring kids they are supposed to sleep in kind of a small attick. They are quite high up and just under the roof. For this reason I am really surprised that there are no smoke detectors in the appartement.

Very clean and functional. Excellent location to visit historical Sintra and the palaces and castles.

Comfy but squeaky beds. Noisy if you want sleep with open windows, but very silent with closed windows.

The location was excellent - with little children we could walk around the old town and feel the magic of Sintra!

I felt the water in the shower could have been hotter but then my husband worked it out by turning up the gas!

Nice central location, with a view on one side of the Praça da República.

Quite small, barely sleeps two persons; persistent sewer-like smell that keeps coming back regardless of all windows being open all day, and only reduces after heavy rain.
