The flat is very nice, spacious, with a great view on the mountains (we had apt at 1st floor) on one side. We immediately felt like home. There is everything you might need at a place like that. We could cook (there are restaurants nearby but there is not much variety), rest and prepare for hiking. We liked the place a lot. It's located perfectly.

Few small things that are personal preference (too big pillows etc.)

The place was so new and sparkling clean! Both the building itself and the rooms were very modern. The apartment is centrally located and within a short walking distance from places where you can get a coffee or a proper meal. The area around is incredibly beautiful snd truly takes your breath away. The owner is nice, accommodating , and easy to communicate with although we haven’t met in person. The check-in process was convenient . There’s parking right outside. If you book the ground floor you don’t get much view from the windows, and the terrace area is fully enclosed with walls, but it takes a very short walk (1 minute or even less) to a stunning panorama outside. There is a very nice sitting area on the top floor (the one you see on the photos), but we weren’t sure if it was intended as a shared space or a private area for the top floor tenants.

Everything was great. Some small things that would be nice to have are kitchen basics like salt and a hair drier in the bathroom. None of these is too important though, so please don’t take it as a complaint.

The apartman is very well situated in the middle of village named Curral das Freiras. The whole building is after full reconstruction and therefore the apartman is equiped with the latest modern style furniture and electric devices. We lived on the second floor. I would recommend this apartman for families with enthusiast hikers because it's reallly great starting point. Mrs. Isabel is very polite and she helped me with all my quires. Thank you!

the apartment was very clean, we had all of the equipment. it looked beautiful, the view from the window was mesmerizing and it was quiet. we felt very welcome, if I had any questions I received answers very quickly :)

The appartement is very clean and spacious. The owner was nice and brought us extra blankets. You have everything you need: washing machine, dishwasher etc.

The beds were hard. The couch was broken (springs were loose) when we arrived. It could use some extra color / accessories to make it more cosy (like plants, curtains, a little light next to the TV etc.)

What a great appartment! It has (almost) everything you'll need. We had the appartment on the first floor. It was nice and spacious: big kitchen, fully equiped, dining area, living area, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It is modern and clean. You can park privatly on the roof of the complex behind a gate, or across in the street. It is located in the center of Curral das Freiras. Supermarket, restaurants and shops are on walking distance. Just be aware restaurants close early (before 8pm)! If you want to eat out late, you'll need to go to Funchal, which is 30 minutes by car, down the mountain road.

With a view extra's, this would've been a perfect stay. So here are my tips: we missed a coat rack at the entrance. It can rain on Madeira, so when you got wet, you'll like to hang your coat somewhere (not being in a closet). Also a doormat to whipe your wet feet would be nice. There's only one mirror, in the bathroom. Would loved to have a large one in the bedroom too. And in the shower, there's no shelf to put your shower stuff on, you have to place it on the floor. I would've liked to be informed beforehand about check-in and -out. Now I had to call at arrival, just to receive the code to the key safe, which could've been sent before arrival. Also, had to contact the owner about check-out procedure; a note in the appartment or info by message/e-mail would've been more handy.
