Beautifully presented, gorgeous location. There is a hike up the mountain right on your doorstep, took us 1hr 10min to the hotel/ viewpoint but well worth the uphill trek. I would 100% stay again.

This is a wonderful place that surprised me I understand that it was in such a place that I felt the real Madeira among the mountains and in a small cute countryside

Location, air conditioning, clean, peaceful.

No towel hooks in bathroom nor toilet paper holder. Hard beds.

Everything was just perfect. Great location, many, free parking spaces, smooth communication with the owner.

It is very high up in the mountain with no direct connection to the city. If you dont have car, dont book this property

If I was being really fussy it would be nicer to have an outside verandah with views and a coffee machine but really it was great accommodation

Such an incredible location. We were blown away by the views. The town is so quaint but with amazing food options. We were so happy to stay here and get away from the crowds. It couldn't be more peaceful and the host was incredibly helpful and kind.

Well furnished, modern apartment with a great view! Includes a private parking spot as well as free public parking . Typical restaurant and interesting museum (chestnut themed) by the apartment. Excellent regional welcoming treats left by the host. Private laundry room available. Good internet connection that we used to watch netflix in the smart tv!

The location in the mountain valley is great, but bear in mind that if you're going to visit other places in Madeira there's always a ~20 minutes journey from curral das freiras to funchal, from where you can access everything else you may want to see!
