Baxia-Chiado Apartment with Incredible view

Apartamento amplo, limpo e bem equipado. Equipe muito atenciosa tanto pelo celular quanto a moça que estava arrumando o apartamento.

O chuveiro de um dos banheiros era bem ruim, não dava para tomar banho de pé direito.

The apartment is in a very central location and the space itself is nice and well designed.

However, our overall experience was disappointing because of a very strong and unpleasant smell coming from both bathrooms. The odor was extremely intense and made using the bathrooms very uncomfortable throughout our stay. We informed the host about the issue during our stay and received polite responses saying it would be checked with the building manager, but unfortunately nothing changed during the three days we were there.

The location was good, it was very noisy but that comes with the location

Flies inside from the moment we got there, some hairs in the bed, 3 people staying there, one in the sofa bed, but no sheet or duvet cover or extra pillows. Can’t use showers at the same time, also one shower you had to hold the nozzle to wash your hair so only ended up using one shower. Smelt like drains

Spacious apartment; two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Responsive host. Perfect for two couples or a family. Doors to close off kitchen and living room. Perfect for noise control and privacy. A kitchen that had basics - salt, olive oil, sugar, coffee, - stocked and available; however, there was minimal cookware. A washing machine and laundry soap. Easily accessible internet. Building was quiet. Two sets of keys in key safe. Nice windows and blackout curtains which could lower street noise volume. A small balcony with a small table and chairs.

Mattress in bedroom with en suite was bad - a smaller “topper” mattress was on top of the main mattress which made it easy to roll off; mattress in second bedroom very firm (hard). With 4 people, there were cool-to-colder showers at times, even though there was a “hot water on demand” type of water heater. No ventilation fan in hall bathroom; no towel racks in en suite bathroom. Lastly, a low-level sewer gas odor mostly in master bedroom, although closing door to en suite helped control it. A small balcony where 2 people couldn’t pass each other.
