Apartamento de Praia - Albufeira

The apartment is very nice and clean. We had everything we needed for the stay. Location is very near the town center and near to the beach. The best part is the view from the balcony where you can watch the ocean.

The property was close to the ocean/beach & Old Town which had a wide variety of restaurants/bars & gift shops.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in….we would suggest buying a new mattress or a pillow topper for the current mattress. We ended up taking turns sleeping on the futon in the living room :( Also, the security door into the complex was always left opened by the tenants due to the fact the door does not close properly…..the key system is also very poor.

Apartmento de Praia is a beautiful and comfy/homey flat near Albufeira old town and the beaches. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to both the elevator for the beach and the old town. It is a spacious apartment with two separate rooms and everything you might need for a short or longer stay (kitchen utensils, beach towels, sun umbrella etc.). It is in a quiet, residential part of Albufeira which does not feel "touristy" and overlooks the ocean with a fantastic view. There is a nice coffee/pastry shop near (Samora, try toasted banana bread, its fantastic) and a big supermarket (Intermarche). Wifi was good (stable 20Mbps) and there are two TVs in the living room and bedroom. Bedroom is air conditioned but we rarely used it since the apartment is overlooking the South so it doesn't get crazy hot. Key was provided in a lockbox and the host Raul is very kind and responded quickly to all our questions. Overall, great place to stay, will definitely visit again!

The only complaint is the bed was a bit short for me (I am 190cm in height) but the host Raul has already told me that a new bed is planned to be installed later this year.
