Beato Apartments

The host was super responsive and helpful! We didn’t have Internet while we’re there, but it was an overall company Wi-Fi issue not an individual Wi-Fi problem. The apartment smelled like Clorox when we first walked in. Other times the apartment smelled very musty. The mold in the Master shower needs to be taking care of. Nice quiet location. Nice amenities and has a dryer. Loved the welcome snacks. The walk is up two flights of stairs.

Nothing

We booked what we thought would be a charming apartment for a special getaway, but the reality was a nightmare. The listing on Booking.com showed a completely different apartment than the one we were given. Upon arrival, the smell was musky and unpleasant. The actual street was filthy, and the interior of the apartment was just as bad. The floors were old and creaky, making every step above us painfully loud. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, leading to a sleepless night, made worse by people screaming outside. The TV looked like it was from the early 90s, and the bathroom was appalling, with dead spiders in the shower. We didn’t dare use anything apart from the bed and shower because the overall condition of the apartment was so uninviting. This was supposed to be a nice break for my partner’s birthday, but it turned into an embarrassment that ruined much of our trip. While the hosts were responsive and gave decent city recommendations, that’s the only positive thing I can say. This company is misleading, showing photos that don’t match the reality. I will never stay with them again and would strongly advise others to avoid them. I’ve attached a photo for reference.

Location

The location had nice restaurants around.

There were cockroaches and mould growing. The doors were eaten by an animal and there were holes in the floor. The stairs to the second floor of the apartment were broken and every time you walk up and down you feel like you are going to fall.
