No private parking

There were ants everywhere inside the house! The owner came back with some repellent for ants after we complained but it smelled awfully. This should have been done before we arrived! The place was only briefly cleaned, but if you looked closer, in the fridge for example, it was really dirty. You can survive one night but for a longer stay it can ruin your holidays.

The host was really welcoming and friendly! They were flexible with the check in and check out time and waited for us to arrive even though we were delayed. There was a nice little kitchen and overall a good range of facilities if we were to have stayed for longer (only stayed one night.) The accommodation stayed cool despite the hot weather. Easy walk down into Machico, close to the bus station and supermarket. We spent the final night of our holiday here so we were close to the airport and didn't have a long transfer time for our early flight. It is less than 10 minutes to the airport! I think the accommodation is great value for money, perfectly clean, it suited our needs very well.

Everything was just perfect, definitely recommended!
