Sunshine House - Exclusive Apartment - Home By The Castle

Great location. Very cozy. Loved the proximity to everything. Easy to get in with codes (Three of them). Safe area.

No complaints at all.

This is an excellent place for a group of 3 or 4 to stay in Lisbon. Unlike other properties in the heart of downtown, it is located on a ground level and there are several steps to get into the building but much easier than carrying a bag up numerous flights of stairs. Nice amenities with stocked kitchen. Two separate rooms. Guide to the whole apartment was organized and nicely done. Beautifully decorated with paintings of Lisbon and by the owner - there has been a lot of thought an effort placed into this apartment. Easy access to St George castle and cathedral. There are some really nice restaurants walking distance to the property as well. Owner Telma was also easy to get a hold of with any issues.

There is a uphill inclination to get to the property and this can be difficult for those with mobility issues - however is unfortunately expected with many places in Lisbon. Heating system can be a bit tricky to operate in winter months, but does warm up eventually! The same system is used for air conditioning.

The apartment was really spacious and well equipped. Really comfortable and in a lovely part of the city

Although you couldn't hear any noise from the outside streets, the noise of people walking around in the apartment above could be loud due to the wooden floors but a small negavitve for a s tay in this lovely apartment

Good location near St. George Castle and the Alfama neighborhood with plenty of eating options. The unit was clean and comfy. Nice bed linens. The back bedroom was nice and quiet.

The stairwell noise from other tenants coming and going on Saturday night/Sunday morning disrupted sleep for the person sleeping in the front bedroom.

Nicely decorated with nice art, location, clean, excellent communication with owner.

it was annoying to have people walking -clomping with shoes on hardwood floors above our heads especially late at night. but it would not prevent me from returning to Sunshine House, we enjoyed our visit very much.

The proporty is new , clean and with all confort . It is located in Alfama a characteristic place of the city. The host Telma is very kind and gave us a lot of useful information.
