The apartment has all the essentials and also a good thing that you can park your car in the garage. But the view wins the whole lottery.

The ocean view was amazing. The location is great. The host is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and comfortable. A reserved parking place makes you life much easier if you rent a car.

In general we liked the apartment very much, so the following are mostly some hints on how to make the apartment even more perfect :) Parking in the garage requires good skills and nerves - opt for a smaller rent car :) Some stuff in the kitchen could be renewed (e.g. the frying pan). It would be nice to have some leftovers from the previous guests (frying oil, spices, etc.), so that you don't have to buy all the basics (especially relevant for shorter stays). Of course, it's totally up to the host, you can't require that. The price is rather high but the overall benefits of the apartment leave you no choice but to make your peace with it :)

The view from the balcony was superb - it keeps changing all the time and I never got tired of it rain or shine. The location was perfect too, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but is still within easy reach. Also you can avoid climing up a steep hill at the end of the day! Camara de Lobos is within walking distance as well - all the way through the sea front promenade. Inside the apartment was immaculate and very comfortable too. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

It is not as if I didn't like but there is no lift so I struggled a bit to carry a heavy luggage with no help to the second floor. Also, this is only a personal preference but the evening sun could be too strong to enjoy sitting in the balcony, which faces south west with no roof - I needed a shade. If you like to be baked in the sun, then it wouldn't be a problem.
