"Excellent accommodation"

Maria is a wonderfully gracious hostess. She welcomed us at the exact time we had arranged. Her apartment is located a short walk from the centre. It was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. There was coffee, tea and a bottle of red wine to welcome us. We cannot fault this accommodation. Thank you for a nice stay in the beautiful city of Porto.

"Stop looking... you've found your home far away from home in Porto."

STOP looking for places to stay in Oporto. Seriously. STOP IT. You already found the place. 10 minutes walk from Trindade and just 25 to Ribeira and 35 to Jardim do Morro, in Gaia. But you know... this is not everything. I've traveled a lot and stayed in lots f appartments in different cities and countries but Refugio is by FAR the BEST ONE I've ever been hosted in. Maria will receive you with a warm smile in her face and with any basics you might need; including a bottle of Porto's wine. You'll get free maps to discover the city and a lovely book she herself did with places to go eating, shopping and tourists atractions. Words can not seriously describe the feeling you have while beeing here, you just need to feel it because it's like beeing home far away from home. Simple but not easy.

Everything was perfect.
