Maria was an excellent host; very personable, punctual and easy to communicate with. The place had all the basics for a comfortable stay, such as toiletries, towels and a couple of snacks, and the apartment was perfect for a family overall.

Our stay in Refugio was exceptional! The owner, an extremely polite and amazing lady, exceeded our expectations with her warm hospitality and attention to details. The flat was very clean, and she thoughtfully provided everything we might need, including a delightful surprise of welcome drinks, fruits, and coffee. The convenience of free parking, just a short walk around the corner, made our arrival stress-free. Although the flat was small, its comfort and cleanliness stood out. The terrace was a huge plus, offering a pleasant space to unwind. Conveniently located near a metro station, a few minutes' walk from the main street, and a pleasant 20-minute walk to the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, the apartment's location was ideal for exploring the city. The added bonus of free parking and a charming terrace made this stay a perfect blend of comfort, and convenience. A heartfelt thank you, Maria, for making our Porto visit so special!

Absolutely amazing little apartment. From the moment we arrived, Maria was so welcoming and had everything we could possibly need ready for us. The apartment itself was very spacious, incredibly clean and felt like a home away from home. We cannot recommend it enough.

Honestly nothing negative to say at all !

This apartment is very clean and modern inside. Every space has been carefully thought out. Maria was a fantastic host, she met us at the apartment and gave us lots of information. There was a huge selection of fruit, wine, beer, cookies, tea, coffee and treats left for us which was lovely.

Nothing to do with the wonderful apartment but the area and street was not very attractive. There was construction in the next apartment that started very early and went on late into the night. I did not do enough research and found the apartment was further out of the center than I thought. The parking is in a garage in the next street, there is no parking outside the apartment and this made moving our cases in and out difficult.

This apartment made you feel at home. Maybe even better than at home, because not every house has a terrace. This is an apartment of total comfort. Spotless cleanliness and a comfortable bed, a nice relaxing area and other details that you don't usually expect to find in a rental property. Everything you could possibly need, from laundry or dishwasher capsules to decaffeinated coffee. There were so many fresh fruits prepared by the hosts that we couldn't eat them in 3 days. The home appliances and air conditioning worked perfectly. There was a lot of useful information in the apartment about restaurants, places to visit, etc. All the useful information you will need can be found on arrival. The hosts meet their guests without delay. Parking is a little away from the apartment, but it is not a problem. One more important point. Even those who may have difficulty with walking can choose the apartments. It is easy to reach the major sites of the city on foot, as you walk downhill, and you can return easily by public transport.

There is nothing to write here. It was absolutely perfect.

perfect facility and the best host ever

An apartment with everything you need. Very central, good value for money. The best thing was the kindness of the owner who explained everything to us perfectly and she also gave us directions to move around the city, monuments, restaurants...

The host was very kind and helpful. We met in person to get keys, the host left some fruits for us, cookies, which was very nice and warm. The place is very close to center and the Douro river, in a walking distance.
